The idea for The Carriage House started when my daughter, Abbie, got married almost 10 years ago. While attending the Bridal Extravaganza, the realization came to me that all of this fun wedding stuff was actually a huge, incredible industry.
I had been working for a medical practice for 15 years and they were merging with a large national corporation. I didn’t want to be in a corporate environment so I began thinking of what my “second act” in life could look like. My husband and I began our research and we grew our ideas into this magnificent wedding venue — our chandelier barn — The Carriage House.
Our reviews are the story of our success. We make every couple feel as if their wedding day at our venue is our one and only. Every wedding is so special, from the couple’s unique story to the guests that attend. We are truly blessed to be a part of these most special days and privileged to meet so many wonderful couples, their families & friends, and vendors too.
On your wedding day, a talented group of vendors merge into one team to bring together your vision and wedding magic happens.
The Team Behind Your Wedding
My favorite moment of the wedding day is when the bride is waiting for her cue to enter the chapel. There is so much love, anticipation, and joy in that sweet time.
University of Houston graduate, wife, mom to 7 mini me’s. I am a “country life” convert. I love spending time in my garden and hanging out with my family.

Today, surrounded by people who love us, I choose you. Those are the words that encapsulated my wedding day. It’s a privilege to see loving couples choose each other and choose us to help enhance their big day. I love the uniqueness of each couple and seeing how their wedding day dreams bloom in the light.
I’m originally from Latvia with a Trojan heart after graduating from the University of Southern California. When I’m not working on sensational weddings, I’m with my loved ones traveling and enjoying leisure activities outdoors.
It’s Latvian tradition for guest to create a festive cloth canopy over the bride and groom as their lives bind together. I hope The Carriage House will serve as a robust canopy on your big day.
I consider myself to be a true wedding and event aficionado. Having grown up in a large family, I learned at an early age that planning and putting value into gatherings of any sort was worth the memories it would create. As an adult, I relish the connections and friendships I continue to develop by helping guide a couple as they plan the most important day of their life.
I believe that no two events are ever the same, and each unique experience has contributed to the way I see and connect with each future couple.
When I’m not busy managing magical wedding days, you can find me at home painting, sketching, or watching period dramas with a latte in hand!
